I like to start a review with the packaging. So, it came in a box, very well cared for inside, fragile label on all sides, and it arrived via FedEx in perfect condition. Good job, Fedex!! Upon assembly I noticed it was very straight forward (mechanical mind not necessary), the instructions were clear and written in my language. Looking at this beautiful piece fully assembled made me feel almost awe struck, with its glowing copper eagle, and brass cardinal directions. Solid piece! I've capped the cupola I'm building with it and it made it even more pretty! The only downside that I could find us that it does not come with the mount. Not really a downside though and if I had read the description better I would've known that before the purchase. You will love this piece. I like the overall design of this chicken feeder and the fact that it has a handle on top for easy transport, caps on the feeder ports to secure the feed overnight, and it's taller than most chicken feeders with it's long slender metal legs. With that said, I gave this feeder 4 stars instead of 5 because after filling it to capacity it became somewhat 'top heavy' with those long slender metal legs. My husband beefed the legs up to prevent the feeder from toppling over - which really made a difference. It's still a great feeder and I would recommend it.
