This duct cover extension kit replaces standard duct covers to accommodate up to a 12-foot ceiling height. This kit covers exposed duct work running from the hood to the ceiling while providing a finished look to your range hood. Please check your Zephyr range hood's specification sheet to ensure compatibility.

I looked long and hard for a duct cover that would hide the off center ducting I had because of a new range installation. I need something large enough to span the ducting and create the illusion of being on center if the new 36” range. The cover is heavier gauge stainless steel, thinking it is at least 18 gauge. It will not dent easily and looks like a professional, quality range hood. I have to figure out how to attach it as it is made specifically for Zephyr brand range hoods and came with no additional mounting hardware. Great improvement in color & style over previous range hood. Luv the up dated styling. Bottom of cabinet isn't flush so couldn't use easy brackets. Two person install was easy & quick, though. Airflow is strong which explains an expected loud noise level, in high position. Fits great below cabinet. Nice profile. Will be using unducted & want to add charcoal filters for the occasional sautéing & broiler use. The LED lights are bright & make my stove top shine nicely - like showroom quality.
