It has multiple settings ranging from silent air circulation to quickly cooling down an entire room. The fan also functions as a lamp providing soft glow. It comes with a remote controller, so I can adjust settings from my bed. Also, the fan circulates air 360 degrees to bring in fresh air. This is a great fan! It is rechargeable and it holds the charge for quite some time. I used it for three hours by the pool with no problem. It had three speeds and can easily be mounted to anything using the flexible arms. The top portion also rotates so you can change the angle to any direction.
