The product itself is fine, however the pictures don’t really show what it’s actually like. Make sure you read the color description. The picture makes the black dome piece look more matte and smooth, however the gloss black one is VERY glossy and had some bubbles/imperfections around it. I am not sure it’s worth the price, however I really like the braided style of the cord so I may try to reorder in the actual matte color and see if it looks better. Found the perfect installation product! I was looking to make an old fixture smart automated and this SkyPlug canopy kit allowed me do just that. The company has a SkyHome app that controls my light and best part was how easy it was to install the plug and canopy onto my fixture. After installing the outlet and plugging in my Eurofase fixture I realized how dirty the glass was. The Skyplug allowed me the ease of unplugging and cleaning my glass fixture on the ground and then quickly plugging it back into the ceiling. Where has this amazing invention been? You can use it with almost any hanging light! I think I might just install these in the whole house. The dimmer switch made all the difference. We purchased them in Matte Black with the Smoke colored glass.
