For the perfect cup of coffee, simply fill the cone-shaped filter with freshly ground coffee and pour a small amount of heated water over them until soaked. Slowly pour the remaining hot water into the filter. Coffee will drip into the mouth-blown, borosilicate glass carafe and, in 3–4 minutes, will be ready to serve. Remove the filter from the carafe before servings and enjoy!

Beyond functionality, it also complements the kitchen and looks great on the counter! I really appreciate how customizable it is. In addition to the auto timer, it has a bold brew option that slows down the water flow to create a stronger cup of coffee. The self-cleaning feature is also a great bonus and very convenient. The only feature I wasn't a big fan of was the over-ice option. While it turns off the hot plate, by the time you fill the carafe with ice and finish brewing, the result is room temperature, diluted coffee. That said, it's not a deal breaker.
