Love this door! Nice quality without too many knot holes, boards are fairly smooth, and the round decorative knobs are really nice. Slightly gray washed stain but warm wood tone shows in places, allowing it to blend with most color pallets. I like the look, the color, the feel... but I did have a problem with the vertical boards not being straight on one door. One board was warped badly which made the one door not line-up with the other door... where it would stick out about 2" at the bottom, past the straight door. The Seller was good to work with and understanding, they sent me a set of new vertical boards to replace the warped one/s. Sadly, one of the replacement boards was warped as well, but not as bad. I installed it anyway and still wasn't happy with the look because it too stuck out at the bottom past the straight door when closed (but only about 1"). After a couple weeks I decided to permanently connect the two doors together using steel straps (top, bottom and middle). I know this would not work for everyone because your doors may slide in opposite directions when opened. For me it worked great because I can only slide my doors one direction to open. The end result is that it appears I have 2 doors, but they slide as one and look pretty nice. I like having them tied together and I like the look of two doors rather than having one big door.. Bought this for my Dad's modern farmhouse and it just brought everything together. Well-made and absolutely a stunning statement piece. The blue wood is so pretty in person and matched the blue-gray leather couches. The different colors of wood really tied together the multi-colors of wood my dad had between his older and newer things. Great door. They sent wall anchors for hanging…you cannot use these, you must hit the studs in the walls. Also, the K boards are NOT attached with adhesive (as the instructions direct) but with the small black screws. The hardware is beefy and impressive.
