I have a very senior litty girl who is losing function in her back legs, so she really can't jump. Ordered this for her and she loves it. I've seen her scoot up and down the stairs with confidence. It was easy to put together (pay attention to the directions, you Must build it the way they suggest or you'll have to take it apart and start over). The only complaint I have is that the bed is not balanced and the first time she jumped in it it fell off the back. The wood is strong enough for indoor but I don’t think it would last long outside in the elements. I didn’t use the roofing material that came with it since I have it inside the house. This all wood cat tree was very easy to assemble in 10 minutes. No tools needed. Just screw in the threaded pole and 2 of beds tight. Plus vacuum it and you are done. My cat jumped right into the nice size 15” wide bed there. Its plenty sturdy for my 2 - 12 lb. cats. And has a nice firm 24” x 20” sq. wood base . The reason i gave it 4 stars because IT IS NOT CHOCOLATE BROWN as pictured which is what I wanted. It is a med beige tan, see photo. Disappointing but I am keeping it and my two cats love it.
