We did have a smaller window a/c unit that was just ok, but this one is a game-changer! It has a/c AND heat! Year-round comfort! It’s powerful enough to cool our entire garage (and we live in the South-so it definitely has its work cut out for it). The heater doesn’t exactly heat the whole room when it’s super cold out, but it definitely takes the chill out of the air and warms it sufficiently to make it possible to use the room in winter. We love it! The remote is handy and the timer feature is awesome. It is well-made and the as easy to install. We had to order a sleeve to slide it into, but it was very simple. Replaced a gas water heater after 30+ years. Initially it saved a lot compared to electric. But LP gas has gotten so high that I felt I was not saving anymore. Excellent product. We have a 4 bathroom house and all use hot water for dishwasher and laundry. The water heater is great, quick to deliver hot water and is working great. Really like the product. For me, the installation was a lot harder than I thought it would be. The unit I have is propane. Time will tell, but overall, I think its going to be great for heating up my small cabin.
