These were not hard to install, I watched a video. I really recommend a video, it makes the directions make sense. Getting it level is the hard part. Drilling the screws in was probably the harder part. The shades came the exact size I measured, kudos to the person who cuts them to size. Other paper shades Ive used come with a clothes hanger style clip that gets knocked off easily. The shade is thicker than others Ive used and blocks out the light very well. I love them, however I couldn't get them installed with the end caps on. I gave exact measurements, per the directions. The blinds were cut 1/8" shorter than the width of my window measurements, and the end caps add more than 1/8 so I had to install without them.
