Installed in a couple of hours, but Closet Maid includes a bracket that is supposed to make installation easier. It doesn't. Holes are not 16 inches apart so you will either use mollies or drill holes in the bracket. We threw it away. Now, for the good stuff. The adjustable shelving was perfectly easy to customize for what we had to store and if things change, so can the shelving. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For some reason my son's closest was the only one in our 4 bedroom house that didnt have a shoe shelf built into his closet, so his shoes were constantly getting thrown around in the floor. This closet maid has helped with that problem so much! It was so easy to put together that I had it up within an hour. It has everything you need to put it together except for the screwdriver, drill, or hammer. It has a white timber finish and is beautiful! As a female, it was definitely not the easiest to carry in the package, however once I got everything out and put together I could carry them separately and lift the top half up to set it on the other one..
