It’s my own fault for not reading closely but I was surprised this was metal vs wood. It still looks pretty on our kitchen wall and the subtle background colors work well in our home. Perfect modern farmhouse style for my trimmed out wall. The clock is wrought hands, and a real piece of stained wood. The clock hands are flimsy and were bent in shipping but we were able to bend them straight. The hands are a shiny type of metal and bronze in color…and surprisingly work well with the overall design. I found another clock online that I preferred but no way I was going to spend $700.
