These were relatively easy to assemble. The design for the clothes hanging bars was a little questionable as they move around once assembled. It would be helpful if the manufacturer provided some sort of guidance (marking on the poles) as to normal heights of hanging clothes. In my opinion, these racks were just a little lightweight in comparison to wire racks I have bought and used in the past. I also think they should be just a little taller. When hanging clothes on the hanging bars (one above the other), another inch or two would have provided some separation between the bottom of the clothes on the top and bottom levels. Redid my whole closet. This was a great buy it makes my closet feel so much more premium now. Wasn’t too hard to set up. Took about 1-2 hrs per shelf installment. Delivery came pretty fast as well. These closet systems are a great color. Assembly was VERY time consuming. We ended up hiring a contractor to assemble and install them. The assembly time indicated was grossly underestimated. The curtain rods that are inside of the main portion of the system doesn’t have enough room to hang a simple shirt. They should have been mounted above the shelf and the shelf should have been removed all together. It is definitely more cheaply made that previous systems we have had. The only suggestion that I have is that in one of the areas to hang clothes the bar is too low to actually hang shirts or even folded pants. Pros: The weight of the door is good if you upgrade to the thicker glass. The overall look is nice. Cons: The rollers are uneven and loud, the installer said they are on the cheaper side and expected higher quality from Kohler. The two doors have different opacity in the frosting with the permanent one frosted and the roller door more see through. The black lines are not metal lining as we expected but instead black paint inside the glass. Installation is incredibly difficult and took our experienced contractor over 5 hours and continual frustration. Overall, it is an OK door for the price but left a lot to be desired.. Frosty323.
