so far it is keeping cold. the freezer space is cut down with the extra ice maker,if i leave it off and use the extra room, i am in fear that the ice may not start working again. i really like it,but it might not start working if it is left off to long. so i have been informed by LG. This was a fantastic purchase. The price was low which made me nervous about the quality of the product - especially the faucet. But the sink is very good quality and the faucet works as it should.
