Absolutely beautiful chairs. I bought the brown (darker) version. I was somewhat confused because everything online says these chairs are genuine leather. However, the instruction manual as you can see in the photo says faux leather on the cover. I emailed Wayfair and they responded back to me and called me to let me know that they believed this is genuine leather and that the instruction manual must be a generic one the manufacturer sends out and possibly this company makes a chair that looks identical that is faux leather. I do believe these chairs are genuine leather because as I was unpacking them the entire house smelled like leather and I don’t believe that is not something you get with faux leather. It looks and smells like genuine leather and I’m very pleased with these chairs. Where the leather was folded for corners, you can see stress indicators on the leather, which I hope will not cause a shorter lifespan in the durability for the chair. Time will tell.
