My condo has french doors in the living room and one bedroom. Even with blinds, the east morning sun heats up the entire unit, taking it all day to cool down. I have been able to lower my thermostat an average of about 2-3 degrees during the day since applying the film and I no longer have to keep the blinds closed tight all day. Surprisingly, it didnt make my room seem dark. The photo above shows the doors with film on the right side only and you can see it doesnt darken the room much. For the price and the ease - this stuff is awesome. It really adds an element of complexity and finished look to your project. I got the only two rolls of black they had left. I wish they had more. Its a really neat concept. As long as no one looks too close or touches it - its totally a dupe for expensive molding !!
