This is a really beautiful and sturdy piece of furniture. Mine did come with a crack on the top edge. But it did not affect the structural integrity and so I reported it to the manufacturer. They were great to work with and we came to an agreement that I feel is fair to all. This does come with a marker too in case you scratch something while assembling and so I used that on the crack and though I know it is there, I doubt any guests would ever notice it now. It is heavy so make sure you don’t try and move it by yourself. About 100 pounds. It’s very pretty but the hinges fell out as soon as we took it out of the box. Luckily my husband knew what to do. This is not a high end piece of furniture, however, it’s sturdy enough.
