If color is not crucial, this could be an excellent inexpensive way to update furniture. The green is nothing like pictured, which is soft and lovely; what I received was more like a dull gray green. But the fit was good and it stayed in place without needing any grips. Once I had it on even when I would sit on it and stand back up, it was nicely in place. The fabric is decent and the part that goes over the seat cushions has a backing to it that evidently is waterproof but for me what it did was keep that bottom place looking very tidy. It was only the color I was disappointed in. I was curious why people showing pictures did not tuck it in because it can be quite a tailored look if you take the time to tuck it all in nicely.. Al.
