This Ceiling fan was purchased for our pole barn. the heat inside the bars gets intense in the summer months and there is very little airflow, this fan offers the perfect solution. We just had it installed yesterday. Recommend that you get a print out of the specifications and the installation. From what I was able to read in Wayfare’s description section, we would be able to install the unit flush with the ceiling. And unfortunately, because I didn’t have printed specifications we had to drop down the unit a foot from the ceiling. Not the inconspicuous flush mount unit and I was hoping for. According to my contractor, this was a very complicated unit to install. To be fair this is a relatively new category of range top hoods that are being offered. Pleased with the noise level, but have yet to cook with it. Read reviews from other previous purchasers, and a common statement was how small the remote controller was. We had our contractor install two of these heaters with the covered patio extension we built last spring. Durable and smooth operating, the patented sliders are made with aluminum and fitted with bearings that allow the sliders to glide across the rail. The sliders are also stacked closer together than conventional panel tracks, which reduces light bleed coming from the gaps between panels.
