The Proline range hood comes with a blower that can run quietly at 400 CFM but is powerful enough at 1100 CFM, its maximum setting. Blower and fan come completely installed and factory tested. Easy to change stainless baffle filters, elegant design, and efficient touch glass controls.

I have had this installed and in operation for about 6 months. The unit arrived undamaged and on schedule. The installation was ok but the mounting brackets of the unit are a little under designed. I added addition bracket to help secure the weight as it is not light. Be sure to consider that you need to plumb in venting that is at least 10" in diameter to carry the 900 cfm. This product features a totally enclosed condenser motor and a large, double suction blower wheel to quietly move air. A small wheel turning very fast will create more noise than a large wheel turning more slowly for a given airflow. This Whisper-ceiling bathroom fan uses a wide blower wheel that moves a large amount of air at reduced RPMs. The blower wheel is also designed to draw air in from both sides, which helps keep the noise down, as there is more area for the air to enter the wheel. In fact, it is quiet enough that you might not even know it's on.

The Panasonic WhisperLine fans are probably the best there is. Very quiet, easy to install. Wayfair had the lowest price. I used the regular ceiling mounts in two bathrooms and a closet. I used this inline fan, mounted in the attic, for exhausting the toaster and microwave ovens (they were mounted a little far from the range exhaust. Strongly recommend using timers.
