I got this pan to see if I would like it before I bought the whole set. I got is March 30 and it is now May 5. I use it about 4x a week. No discoloration and no coating coming off. The deep straight sides of this 3 Quart Saute Pan gives you enough room to sear meats, and then add liquid to stew or braise.
