He likes simple the better, so it doesn’t play music or change to colored lights or have the lights flicker on and off, none of that! He doesn’t like those things and if you like simple, too, this is the one for you, too! It is such a sweet tree, that lights up for Christmas and makes you feel good inside. It gives off a nice glow from the white lights, but not so much that it interferes with the tv. It came when Wayfair said it would and now my husband is set up in his Family room for Christmas. I was initially sent the wrong item as well but Wayfair customer service was able to get the correct one delivered and it’s even more beautiful in person. It’s 18” tall. Very nicely crafted. There is a dial on the back to turn it on and adjust the volume. If you don’t want any music, would have to turn the dial all the way down but you can still hear it a little bit if nearby. Takes 3 AA batteries. I’m going to purchase the adapter so I don’t have to keep changing it. Love this item! Same as other poster - I didn’t get the item I ordered and got exactly what she did which is disappointing because I was really looking forward to it. What I received were three pieces of an acrylic Christmas trees which I already have something similar. I was looking forward to seeing the village scene with the moving train.
