My 12 year old son and I had no problem assembling this in about an hour. I the wood is not as thick/sturdy as I had hoped. I think it will be excellent for our first 4 chickens. We will have it inside. Covered run with a water proof cover so hopefully it will last a little while. The bottom metal tray seems fragile. I hope it can withstand the weight of 4 chickens. Smaller than what is projected in the picture, but true to size of the dimensions that were provided. Some of the pieces came in damaged, such as the corners of the two nest box lift doors on the sides that are not intact and will need to be repaired. Not a setup I would leave uncovered / exposed to the elements as the materials are thinner / less sturdy than expected for something to house animals. I ended up needing to drill larger holes on each leg or there would have been no way to actually attach them.
