We were very surprised at the quality, especially for the price. You can't buy the wood for what this pen cost. Assembly was also fairly easy ; it only took a couple of hours and our little Silkies {bantam chickens with white feathers that look like hair, black skin, and five toes} were all settled in. After just a few months the floor had rotted out, the doors warped and no longer closed securely, and the staples holding the screens started popping out and several of the birds got out and were killed by the neighbor's dog. This chicken coop is constructed with solid fir wood which printed animal-friendly coating. The wire is made of heavy-duty galvanized (wire openings are only 1/2"x 1/2") to prevent predators. 75.7" (L) x 62.5"(W) x59.1"(H) Roomy space provide a great living condition for 6 - 10 chickens, ducks. The whole roof is completely covered with asphalt to keep your poultry shaded from the sun and protected from the rain. Vents allow airflow to reduce moisture to keep your chicken house dry & avoid sickness. With a sliding door and handle, it is possible to close the sleeping area entrance from outside the coop.

Looks just like photo. Was well packaged and not damaged via shipping. However, there were a few split areas in the wood I had to glue. The instructions were not good at all! It said it'd only take an hour to put together but it took my son and I six hours, over two days, to get this together.
