This wine fridge works great! I like that there are the light color choices. The wood shelves are nice. I prefer them over wire or metal racks. My one issue that I knew before I ordered is that it doesnt have full extension shelves. That makes it hard to see the bottles on the back half of the shelf. There are virtually no combo units like this for less than $500 anywhere - more likely to get a nicer stainless bar fridge/freezer you'd spend nearly $2,000. Still, here's what you should know. The freezer has a small pipe up to the cooling area - that's how the cooling area is cooled....via the freezer. As cold air drops, that's why the minimum temperature of the cooling area is around 41 degrees. For me, the freezer was the main reason to buy this and the cooling area was for my mixers and therefore just a bonus. The unit is quiet and the blue light is pleasing.
