No. But it is extremely helpful. These are things I was ready for, but some other buyers might not be ready for. This is an RF controlling device. While it makes some devices a little easier to use it does not make those devices "smart". If you have someone who likes to use the remotes a lot, the app will show incorrect settings for those devices that have changed with the remote. This does not bug me, but for someone who is not ready for that, make sure you understand what this device is first. I highly recommend Bond. This is an affordable way to use what you already have. Less devices in the landfill for replacements, and a pretty great way to control my devices from my phone. I love this curtain so much. I was looking for something I could hang above a window mounted A/C unit and this was just perfect. You do have to fuss with the bow ties to arrange attractively. The seams are messily sewn, with lots of loose threads. I also think the weight of the curtain "Unties" them after some time. Slightly longer ribbons would have allowed for more hanging height options and a prettier bow tie but even with the challenges its still the best man for the job. Nice look, have only used it a week but have not had any stains, etc. Easy to clean and matching drains look nice. Update - have had it for 4 years now so downgraded to 4 stars from 5. Like the sink,works well,looks good. Only compaint is that over time the center divider can get very small chips/wear.
