Your average cheap mattress, definitely much less supportive and not as firm as your typical firm mattress, but as to be expected for the price. Doesn’t fluff up evenly or as nicely as you’d think if you’ve ever bought a quality bagged mattress you know what I mean. Fabric is super loose and not fitted to the mattress and the mattress does get that dipping effect when two people lay on it at the same time. Not the best, but not the worst either. Haven’t washed yet but it appears sturdy enough to resist the hot water washing that is recommended. I think after owning several memory foam mattress toppers, these are just not for me. I do like how your body sinks in and the foam cradles you, I don’t like how hot they make me. Even the toppers that claim to be cooling or, as this one says, gel and aloe infused, they do not truly cool me or keep me from getting hot. But that’s just me. I did transfer this mattress topper to the bed in the guest bedroom (after trimming it to fit the queen size bed) and everyone who’s slept on it said they slept pretty good.
