Pillow protector appears to be very well made. UPDATE: Washed for 1st time and found stitching on one case completely undone leaving a 3 inch hole that needs to be repaired. Seems completely airtight moisture resistant. Instructions stated to be sure pillow and protector are completely dry before zipper closed. This will prevent possibility of mold growth. Haven’t washed yet but it appears sturdy enough to resist the hot water washing that is recommended. I did transfer this mattress topper to the bed in the guest bedroom (after trimming it to fit the queen size bed) and everyone who’s slept on it said they slept pretty good. This topper is a dream! I was a little apprehensive at first due to the reviews of it changing colors and staining. I’ve had a topper before that changed colors and never stained so I gave it a shot. I purchased these pillow protectors because the price was reasonable and they came in a four pack. They are waterproof, they have zippers and can easily be removed from pillows for washing.
