I have the king size in alabaster, and we love it! We needed something low profile because our room is vaulted and we were considering placing it on the short side walls. This bed is absolutely beautiful and looks amazing in our bedroom! We purchased the king-size version, and our room is very large. Surprisingly, the bed almost looks like a full-size bed because of how spacious the room is. If you have a large bedroom and have been debating whether to upgrade to a king-size bed, consider this your sign to do it! Assembly was the only challenging part. It took about two hours to put together, and this is definitely a two-person job. There are quite a few slats that need to be installed, so be prepared to spend some time assembling it. However, once everything was put together, it was completely worth it. The bed feels very sturdy, looks high-end, and paired with our mattress, it is beyond comfortable. I went to pick up the box off the patio... again, thinking these were probably some cheap light weight metal brackets, but the box was heavy! quite heavy. I brought them in and pulled them out of the box and was very surprised and pleased at the weight and quality of these brackets. We had spent a lot of money on a large under mount hand hammered copper metal sink and i was concerned about the weight of the sink being carried by just the cabinet. i found these online and took a shot at them. very stout piece of metal and nice construction. We love our Hanson bed. We’ve had it for several years now and paired it with a Casper king size mattress. It’s very sturdy and doesn’t creak or shuffle when you move in bed. The color is beautiful. If any lint gets stuck on it, a quick electric lint roller solves that issue. Sturdy bed that’s well packaged and well made. Simple enough to put together and and comes with detailed instructions. Once fully assembled the bed sits fairly low without a boxspring, however it would probably be better with a boxspring to raise the height otherwise it’s perfect.
