My old fridge, a Kenmore, started popping the circuit breaker after only 5 years. This new LG is fabulous! This fridge is now 2 years old and has worked almost flawlessly, with the exception of the light on the door water dispenser (currently not functional). Did not want bells & whistles, so this one was as close as we could get. Wish we could have purchased it without the huge ice maker that we very rarely use and without internet connectivity. Shelves are a tiny bit less deep than the last refrigerator, but it’s not too much of a problem. It’s working, keeps the food safe, and is very attractive. I like it but it’s really weird to me to have such a nice appliance that doesn’t have an in the door ice and water dispenser.
