I love the modern look and floating style. The instructions were subpar, omitting written language in favor of images, arrows, and numbers on the cabinet base instructions. I’m handy with tools and was able to modify a few things to make it work. Firstly, pieces 4-8 have an end with larger holes. These holes go against pieces 1 and 2. I wish the instructions had said that! Second, the hangers did not work in the ore-drilled hole location. I had to move them toward the front of the cabinet and loosen the hanger before screwing them to the cabinet. That was the only way to get the cabinet pulled in close to the wall. Third, I wanted the unit mounted to studs so I added a couple holes in the top strap where the studs were. I hate drywall anchors, especially the cheap ones included in the kit. If you’re going to use drywall anchors, you’re better off using the screw-in type or toggles. Lastly, FYI the drain pipe kit that comes with the sink is 1-1/4” flexible pipe.. Hallie. Raleigh, NC. Well after I got my second one I got it to work after guidance from delta. The problem being, Alexa needed to forget the first module. They said she was confused because Ii had two in her system. After we deleted the 1st one, she worked. I stayed in the 5 ghz. In my router. She doesn’t understand cups for filling the coffee pot and her ounces are way off. So I changed the command for a 14 cup coffee pot to 60 ounces. It gets close enough without running over. For the measuring cups I think she’ll do just fine.. Jackie. New Leipzig, ND. We love this high-performing hood. We got this to go with our new 48 inch for no double oven range. We needed the high power and it works beautifully! Just a couple of notes… The lights are not dimmable. That would’ve been a nice feature. Be sure to mount the hood low enough so that the bright lights do not distract you while cooking. But we did want four lights… Many Chimney hoods like this only offer three and did not provide the lighting that we were looking for. Several other reviews mention how loud the fan is. This is true. Even on low it’s quite loud. However, other models that we looked at that were more quiet… Were 3 to 4 times the cost. We do a lot of cooking and Are just fine turning up the music or speaking a little more loudly to one another while cooking! Ha ha! I have had this installed and in operation for about 6 months. The unit arrived undamaged and on schedule. The installation was ok but the mounting brackets of the unit are a little under designed. I added addition bracket to help secure the weight as it is not light. Be sure to consider that you need to plumb in venting that is at least 10" in diameter to carry the 900 cfm.
