I’ve owned the fridge for about 3 weeks and it is a solid upgrade. PROS: It looks great and elevates the look of the kitchen to gourmet. The water/filter quality is top tier and the auto sense fill feature saves time when filling up a glass or a measuring cup. And of course it chills and freezes nicely with features that boost the capability for special circumstances such as installation or recovering from a power outage. CONS. It’s missing a few “normal folks” features that I’ve enjoyed over the years and that I would expect for the cost. 1. It is massive and takes 4-6 people to deliver it; annotate that during delivery or they won’t send enough people to get it off the truck. Also, installation and haul away aren’t included. Be prepared to pay a few hundred extra. 2. The door isn't magnetized - so it won’t hold a magnet. 3. So far, so good. We wanted a 48” built-in fridge to replace our 24-year-old GE Monogram. Looked for one with size and reliability being most important. Did not want bells & whistles, so this one was as close as we could get. Wish we could have purchased it without the huge ice maker that we very rarely use and without internet connectivity. Shelves are a tiny bit less deep than the last refrigerator, but it’s not too much of a problem. It’s working, keeps the food safe, and is very attractive. Very pretty. The color of the vanity is very pretty. Took about an hr to put one box together and it came in two boxes. The instructions on how to put it together was not very clear. You can see in my picture the brackets need to go under neath to hold things in place. But no where on the instruction does it tell you where to put these brackets. But we figured it out. The product was perfect for our needs. The price was very fair and the financing was great. The set up was easy. The only thing that should be addressed is in the set-up of the CO2 gauages and connections. That section of the manual could use a little more clarity. Like the quality of the sink. Opened the box and checked for damage upon arrival. I found that the mounting rail for the installation bolts was completely off on one long side and partially off on the other long side. Although I am a bit disappointed I am going to keep the sink and epoxy the rails back in place. This should not be happening with a sink in this price range. We love this high-performing hood. We got this to go with our new 48 inch for no double oven range. We needed the high power and it works beautifully! Just a couple of notes… The lights are not dimmable. That would’ve been a nice feature. Be sure to mount the hood low enough so that the bright lights do not distract you while cooking. But we did want four lights… Many Chimney hoods like this only offer three and did not provide the lighting that we were looking for. Several other reviews mention how loud the fan is. This is true. Even on low it’s quite loud. However, other models that we looked at that were more quiet… Were 3 to 4 times the cost. We do a lot of cooking and Are just fine turning up the music or speaking a little more loudly to one another while cooking! Ha ha! I definitely recommend just be aware of the bright lights, lack of ability to dim the lights, and the volume of the fans when running!. Drew. Mon Jan 05 2026
