Needed a new wine fridge after my old one just stopped working. After much research and with a recommendation I decided on this one. Important Review! Overall the drawer fridge is fine. Does and appears as described however unpon installation with the feet, the height is .5” taller than description. For under counter applications, this is critical. This needs to be corrected by the description or manufacturer. As you could see, it came in to play for my bar set up. I love the modern look and floating style. The instructions were subpar, omitting written language in favor of images, arrows, and numbers on the cabinet base instructions. I’m handy with tools and was able to modify a few things to make it work. Firstly, pieces 4-8 have an end with larger holes. These holes go against pieces 1 and 2. I wish the instructions had said that! Second, the hangers did not work in the ore-drilled hole location. I had to move them toward the front of the cabinet and loosen the hanger before screwing them to the cabinet. That was the only way to get the cabinet pulled in close to the wall. Third, I wanted the unit mounted to studs so I added a couple holes in the top strap where the studs were. I hate drywall anchors, especially the cheap ones included in the kit. If you’re going to use drywall anchors, you’re better off using the screw-in type or toggles. Lastly, FYI the drain pipe kit that comes with the sink is 1-1/4” flexible pipe.. Hallie. Raleigh, NC. So far so good. Some things right out of the box: 1. Make sure you have a hot outlet to plug it into. I replaced a dishwasher with this and needed to install a new outlet to run it. 2. I wish the shelf racks had a lip on the side. When you load it full of drinks, they can fall off the side of the shelf when you pull it out. 3. I really like the look of it. It was a perfect fit and match to my other appliances. 4. It’s got a low hum. Not noisy, but you can definitely hear it. 5. I wish the door had a little more suction when closing. We really appreciate the lack of handles sticking out and the refrigerators sleek finish. You do have to be careful not to open both drawers at the same time, or the whole unit will fall forward. It is definitely best to use under a snug countertop between cabinets (we haven't installed our flooring yet, so it doesn't fit snuggly under the countertop yet). BUY IT! I was so concerned about buying an appliance which would be delivered by who knows who. I didn't want to spend the $2,000+ the local stores were charging for similar items. I took the chance, so happy I did. I was beyond impressed with the packaging of the beverage fridge. It was easy to unpack even with all the layers of cardboard, wood, metal and Styrofoam. The instructions were clear and repeated so you couldn't miss them (let sit flat for at least 24 hours before plugging in) and it was easy to put the door on. I did it myself as my husband was at work. I slid it into place easily too. It is the exact size it says it is. It cooled down quickly. We use it every day! It's perfect.
