These shelves are as described in the product description section of the listing. The wood that they are made of (which is a type I was not familiar with) is very lightweight, but seems sturdy - the boards almost seem hollow core when you first handle them. I took off one star because, while the dimensions listed are accurate, I was misled by the picture of the shelves being used for books and they’re really not deep enough for that purpose, unless you like a lot of overhang..
