Love the height so you can get your face under it to rinse really well. Watch the three-year warranty. I didn’t realize it had one and one of the pair I ordered has been leaking like a sieve and corroding for the last several months. Of course now I realize there is one, I am now one week out of warranty. I think the corrosion is a common occurrence with the bronze finish if you can’t keep them really dry, but not sure why both faucets I ordered are leaking so bad now because of my plumber or the product. This beam is constructed out of ¾” thick Aspen wood and is 6 1/2" tall. You choose the length and depth. Each piece of wood is unique and will have more or less character/knots than the other. It is designed to look like a solid beam without weight. The distressed beams are painted either black or white and have the edges sanded over and a brown stain/wax applied for a distressed look. The distressed beams will not be a solid color. Easy to install utilizing a French cleat mounting bracket which is included. Screws are not included. You will need to purchase 3" screws for the application you will be attaching the bracket to. Wood is considered a combustible material. Heat clearances must be adhered to. If installing over a fireplace, check your local building codes and the manufacturer's instructions for your specific fireplace insert or stove.

Great shelf! Easy to install right into studs. One of the L-brackets was clearly less that 90° angle but it didn't actually make a difference. I hung it and everything is level. Wow! This 72” mantel was even better than expected. The stain was even, and the finish was more on the matte side which was exactly what I wanted for our remodeled family room!
