No. But it is extremely helpful. These are things I was ready for, but some other buyers might not be ready for. This is an RF controlling device. While it makes some devices a little easier to use it does not make those devices "smart". If you have someone who likes to use the remotes a lot, the app will show incorrect settings for those devices that have changed with the remote. This does not bug me, but for someone who is not ready for that, make sure you understand what this device is first. I highly recommend Bond. This is an affordable way to use what you already have. Less devices in the landfill for replacements, and a pretty great way to control my devices from my phone. This version of the tank comes equipped with a left-hand chrome trip lever. This Drake tank meets the standards for EPA WaterSense®, and California’s CEC and CALGreen requirements. The Drake tank includes a tank to bowl gasket, tank to bowl hardware, and toilet bolt caps. Additional items needed for installation and use must be purchased separately: compatible Drake toilet bowl, wax ring, toilet mounting bolts, water supply lines, and toilet seat.
