It’s a beautiful shower door. Heavy. I was hesitant on ordering based on a couple of the low reviews. We didn’t install it ourselves our contractor did. It was difficult to find the shower door I wanted for our tiny bathroom and this was perfect. Very good quality. My only complaint is that the sliding glass door is a bit smaller than the fixed panel. I think it would be better if it were the other way around, as that would provide a wider opening to get in and out of the shower. Easy to install ,nice door ,my opinion i would stay closer to the 48 inch size opening like 46 to48 ,i know it only another 2 inches to the 44 inches it says it can fit but it doesn't leave alot of room for the opening , it will work just suggest the person using the shower be on the smaller side.. I have one of those bathrooms reminiscent of the 1990s despite my home being built in the early 2000s. Big garden tub that never gets used with a stall shower next to it. The shower was so gross. Metal all rotted, difficult to slide the door. I would love to redo the bathroom entirely, but I thought let's just try a new door to start. It truly has refreshed the bathroom so much. I wish I could figure out how the heck to replace/get rid of the half glass wall but that'll have to come next. I did have to get a height that was just a smidge too big too, as my measurement wasn't found anywhere. We haven’t installed the item yet, but looking at it out of the box the quality is good. The glass is thick and seems durable. The pieces for the frame are a nice matte black color and everything seems to be as it should. Overall, I am very pleased with this tempered glass shower door. It arrived quickly and was well packaged, with all of the necessary hardware included for installation, including the metal track, door handles, and silicone seals.
