Love this so much! Another reviewer had a great suggestion to take the doors off before installing. It’s not as heavy to mount then. Also that protects the mirrors from damage while mounting the base. The cabinet sits on a long bracket installed first. Be sure you catch a stud with the screws. The backing is like a pegboard material but very solid. The frame is metal, feels like aluminum. So it will not rust. The door hinges have a lovely soft closing feature. No more slamming cabinet doors!! The cabinet is a tiny bit shorter than my previous mirror, but the really nice two sided mirrors, glass shelves that pop into the shelf brackets (had to figure thst out), and the very classy backing make up for a slightly smaller cabinet. I love the modern look and floating style. The instructions were subpar, omitting written language in favor of images, arrows, and numbers on the cabinet base instructions. I’m handy with tools and was able to modify a few things to make it work. Firstly, pieces 4-8 have an end with larger holes. These holes go against pieces 1 and 2. I wish the instructions had said that! Second, the hangers did not work in the ore-drilled hole location. I had to move them toward the front of the cabinet and loosen the hanger before screwing them to the cabinet. That was the only way to get the cabinet pulled in close to the wall. Third, I wanted the unit mounted to studs so I added a couple holes in the top strap where the studs were. I hate drywall anchors, especially the cheap ones included in the kit. If you’re going to use drywall anchors, you’re better off using the screw-in type or toggles. Lastly, FYI the drain pipe kit that comes with the sink is 1-1/4” flexible pipe.. Hallie. Raleigh, NC. I was in search of a free standing tub that had completely straight/square sides versus the many that are sold with curves and angles. I needed this to fit in a corner without leaving spaces between the tub and wall that would either trap water or dust. This was the the one squared tub that I found within my price range, with others being 2-3 times as much for some reason, so I bought it in the only version available at the time (glossy gray). It's here now, I've opened the box to take a look and it is really beautiful and substantial while also being a foot shorter in length than the alcove tub it's replacing (space that I was eager to gain in a small bathroom). I'm really excited to get it installed and will be putting in a fixed glass panel on the non-wall end and a pivoting glass panel door along the exposed side since it will get the most use as a shower. kit# 2 luxury shower surrounds for the DIY enthusiast in pre-cut kits for common shower wall sizes. These panels are lightweight, easy to carry, cut, and fabricate. Cutting can be done with a skill saw, angle grinder, jigsaw, etc. To fabricate you can use a Dremel tool, miter, etc. We suggest using Loctite power grab ultimate adhesive or boss 125 adhesive to adhere panels to the walls but compatibility to the other substrates might need testing. We suggest using 100% clear silicone to glue the trim to the panels. We suggest applying the adhesive to the panel, applying circle blobs of caulking about 6”-8” apart throughout the sheet. We also suggest applying 100% silicone, about a ¼” continuous bead around the panel outside edges to ensure a good edge seal and prevent moisture or debris from getting behind the panel.

Tub was shipped and delivered quickly - way before the estimated delivery date. Tub arrived undamaged and seemed to be an easy install (per the plumber). The only reason I gave a 4 star review is the tub has a logo on the front that I didn't see on the photos.
