Wow! This 72” mantel was even better than expected. The stain was even, and the finish was more on the matte side which was exactly what I wanted for our remodeled family room! I noticed some people commenting on the pearl insert on the side. I didn’t think it was noticeable. It’s small and towards the back on the right side. Gray, 48", 8" D

This beam is constructed out of ¾” thick Aspen wood and is 6 1/2" tall. You choose the length and depth. Each piece of wood is unique and will have more or less character/knots than the other. It is designed to look like a solid beam without weight. The distressed beams are painted either black or white and have the edges sanded over and a brown stain/wax applied for a distressed look. The distressed beams will not be a solid color. Easy to install utilizing a French cleat mounting bracket which is included. Screws are not included. You will need to purchase 3" screws for the application you will be attaching the bracket to. Wood is considered a combustible material. Heat clearances must be adhered to. If installing over a fireplace, check your local building codes and the manufacturer's instructions for your specific fireplace insert or stove.

This fireplace is lovely, it puts out exceptional heat and is very attractive on my dove gray wall. Now mounting it was another story, the studs provided did not work at all, luckily we had studs that did work - so mounting took some finagling, but the finished result is BEAUTIFUL! Unfortunately the left side flame did not work but I called the manufacturer customer service and they said it is the LED light and they are making it right.
