I love this curtain so much. I was looking for something I could hang above a window mounted A/C unit and this was just perfect. You do have to fuss with the bow ties to arrange attractively. The seams are messily sewn, with lots of loose threads. I also think the weight of the curtain "Unties" them after some time. Slightly longer ribbons would have allowed for more hanging height options and a prettier bow tie but even with the challenges its still the best man for the job. I bought the mauve and gray. The mauve color is very muted; both are beautiful. I I Love the material, the quality, and how well they blackout the sun. They are lined, which helps with energy efficiency. On the outside looking in, the mauve ones are a silky cream color and the gray ones are a silky light gray, which is way better than plain white like many of them are. Bonus points for being weighted. Only knock is that getting the wrinkles out takes some elbow grease. Steamer didn't work. Do not iron them directly.
