These faux wood blinds are beautiful, and they fit perfectly in my window. They look very clean, and beautiful. Privacy is perfect. Hardware was easy to install. Light blocking is very good to keep out the sun rays without making it too dark in the room. Very easy to open and close. This is my second set and I love them. Works great and looks nice. I have had this installed and in operation for about 6 months. The unit arrived undamaged and on schedule. The installation was ok but the mounting brackets of the unit are a little under designed. I added addition bracket to help secure the weight as it is not light. Be sure to consider that you need to plumb in venting that is at least 10" in diameter to carry the 900 cfm. kit# 2 luxury shower surrounds for the DIY enthusiast in pre-cut kits for common shower wall sizes. These panels are lightweight, easy to carry, cut, and fabricate. Cutting can be done with a skill saw, angle grinder, jigsaw, etc. To fabricate you can use a Dremel tool, miter, etc. We suggest using Loctite power grab ultimate adhesive or boss 125 adhesive to adhere panels to the walls but compatibility to the other substrates might need testing. We suggest using 100% clear silicone to glue the trim to the panels. We suggest applying the adhesive to the panel, applying circle blobs of caulking about 6”-8” apart throughout the sheet. We also suggest applying 100% silicone, about a ¼” continuous bead around the panel outside edges to ensure a good edge seal and prevent moisture or debris from getting behind the panel.

Cutting can be done with a skill saw, angle grinder, jigsaw, etc. To fabricate you can use a Dremel tool, miter, etc. We suggest using Locktite PowerGrab Ultimate adhesive or Boss 125 adhesive to adhere panels to the walls but compatibility to the other substrates might need testing. We suggest using 100% clear silicone to glue the trim to the panels. We suggest applying the adhesive to the panel, applying circle blobs of caulking about 6”-8” apart throughout the sheet. We also suggest applying 100% silicone, about a ¼” continuous bead around the panel outside edges to ensure a good edge seal and prevent moisture or debris from getting behind the panel.
