We recently selected this shower door for a bathroom refresh. We didn't want to do custom glass in this kids bathroom, and opted to save a bit and go with a premade frameless shower door. The quality of the materials is exceptional for our needs here! Achieving a "high-end" look often comes down to the weight and finish of the hardware, and this door delivers on both counts. The brass finish is sophisticated and has a beautiful, soft luster. It isn't that overly shiny "fake" gold. The hinges feel substantial and provide a smooth, heavy inswing and outswing. The 3/8" tempered glass is crystal clear. It makes the entire bathroom feel much larger and more open, which is exactly the "airy" vibe I was going for. This shower door is everything a person could ask for. I love that it is tempered glass and shatterproof, making it a safe option. The components are stainless steel and coated so as to never rust. It does glide very smoothly. One of my favorite parts is that it can accommodate some variance in widths, rather than being engineered to fit down to a fraction of an inch as some are. I'm really enjoying this so far. I've got it working with SmartThings which means it's working (okay) with Google Home. All five of my RF fans work with this device. I would say signal is sent to those devices correctly 95% of the time. I have found that if I accidentally misclick, it is better if I count to 10 before making the correct choice. Is it perfect? No. But it is extremely helpful. These are things I was ready for, but some other buyers might not be ready for. This is an RF controlling device. While it makes some devices a little easier to use it does not make those devices "smart". If you have someone who likes to use the remotes a lot, the app will show incorrect settings for those devices that have changed with the remote. This does not bug me, but for someone who is not ready for that, make sure you understand what this device is first. I highly recommend Bond. This is an affordable way to use what you already have. Less devices in the landfill for replacements, and a pretty great way to control my devices from my phone.
