Dimensions are misleading on images. Image says depth is 18". Specs and actual product show just shy of 12". I'm keeping it, but it is disappointing that I missed the dimensions in the specs and cannot use the shelf for what I actually bought it for. Other than that, the shelf IS nice and feels sturdy.. I couldn’t have found a better shelf for the space I needed. We live in an old house that we are remodeling so needless to say our spaces are wonky. We have a space next to our safe and this shelf fits perfectly in width depth and height. My only complaint is that the backing was not aligned and I had to remove the tape that held it together to re-aligned it. It caused the piece to crack a little which is ok since this is hidden and for storage. Impressed with the hardware - all metal. And it comes with a magnetic screw driver!
