Works for me, but I would have been really upset if I had paid full price. Majority of the pieces had some sort of damage that could have been solved with better packing. The backing is pretty flimsy and has really visible creases that I couldn't smooth out. I covered the back with wallpaper bc I thought it was cute. The laminate is pretty thin and seems to be easily damaged. Overall satisfied with it, but I would have preferred something a bit more elevated. Just hard to find a good balance of price and value.. The bookshelf is wonderful. Very sturdy and it looks high quality. As you can see I am using for our tv and it’s deep enough where the hdmi cords have room to be plugged in horizontally into the back of the tv. One heads up though, the package is HEAVYYY so be ready to have someone help you carry it in. Other than that, once it was built (which the assembly was so easy) it wasn’t to hard to move around to where I wanted it. I love these book cases. I live in an older house with kind of odd dimensions., and the dynamic design flows nicely and adds a modern appeal. These shelves is a great update to my space and really has brighten the whole room up and turned into a very nice display. They are manufactured wood, but a lot more sturdy feeling than some of the other manufactured products that l've purchased.., I am not very tall and they weren't too heavy for me to get around, but they feel solid, which is surprising for the design. Update 121625 - Ok, Doors have been installed now my husband will put holes in for the doors for the handle hardware and wait for our warmer weather to paint doors (black). He will paint the trim and doors black. But these doors provide such a much more expensive and quality look. The contrast between the original doors and these 5 panel doors are night and day and the soundproofing is sooo much better. We have a open concept home and to have the solid core makes such a difference. So much so we were going to leave one of our doors that is not seen in the main area original but he had me order another one today. I will say these doors were prices extremely well over the big box stores or any competitor. I can not express how much these doors have increased not only the value of our home but the beauty. Original 111425 My husband has been disappointed with the current doors we have in home (hollow core and plain). Our home is an open plan and the doors being as they are you hear everything and this was his biggest complaint outside of the fact that they were plain and ugly. He saw these and had me order three of them immediately. First assessment, well packaged and secured. The doors are very heavy and sturdy. The style is just what I was looking for with the five panels. We are waiting on the installer and I will update pictures once complete. We are very pleased with this purchase, well worth it..
