This double sliding door is one giant heavy beast, probably because of the 14” thick 2 glass door panels and the heavy duty hardware. It’s a beautiful unit but I really didn’t think it through. My shower is a fiberglass shell and because my house is over 100 years old, we don’t know yet if there are intact studs behind the shell.
