My 12 year old son and I had no problem assembling this in about an hour. I the wood is not as thick/sturdy as I had hoped. I think it will be excellent for our first 4 chickens. We will have it inside. Covered run with a water proof cover so hopefully it will last a little while. The bottom metal tray seems fragile. I hope it can withstand the weight of 4 chickens. We just finished putting our coop together. All items were in the box and labeled. It was a big task putting it together but instructions were easy to follow. The coop is really nice but light weight. Need to stake into the ground. Our chickens are too young to put in there but are excited for that day. Put it together all by myself and it was easy. The ramp seems a little steep, but I think I’ll just put a block or something under it. Pretty good quality for the price. I love this coop! It’s cute and perfect for what I need it for. Exactly what I wanted. Fair price for what it is. I did have a problem with a couple of things when assembling. First the bar going across the middle base was the opposite direction than shown in the instructions. I made it work, hopefully the floor holds up. second the hardware for the last part of the roof were pre installed backwards and up too high. Pictures attached in order. Great starter coop! We ended up stapling chicken wire around the entire outside for extra protection and also added a second latch to the bottom of the door. Impressed with the amount of roosting space plus ground space. I plan on redoing the latches on the roosting boxes as they aren’t the strongest and predators “could” get in or my chickens could get out. We did have missing pieces to 4 of the latches and had to go buy some. Easy assembly however it does take about 6 hours to but together. There were a few undrilled boards. Also the cover doesn't stay on with windy days with it being Velcro.
