I really like these fixtures, but wanted to add one word of caution. Because the decorative links are STEMS rather than chains, "adjusting the length" means using 1 or 2 stems. You are not given that much flexibility in the length. This was hard for us, because we found out that 1 stem made it too high and 2 stems made it too low. (We had a very creative electrician who came up with a solution using brass colored links from another fixture we had ordered. Otherwise, we would have had to return this fixture).. Yuko. It’s being hung tomorrow. I’m so excited! I am putting it in my hallway because it has really high ceilings and it’s the perfect spot for it. I love the simplicity of this light fixture. It lends itself to any design style. You can change your color scheme and paint and it will still look great. You can change your design style, for example, I change my relaxed coastal style to a mid century modern vibe and it works perfectly. I challenge someone to find a style that it doesn’t work with lol. Good luck with that. All in all, I’m very happy with this light fixture. I highly recommend it. As soon as it’s hung, I will update my review with beautiful pictures of it hanging in my hallway. The light was a lot bigger than i thought it would be and that’s great! I was worried it was going to be too small but no way! It’s substantial. Please note that installation can be a challenge. And sometimes the installation is more than the cost of the light. I never imagined I could replace the lights over my large kitchen island so affordably, but these pendants completely transformed the space. My previous lights were tiny, underwhelming pendants, and these feel substantial, stylish, and perfectly scaled for a big island. I had an electrician handle the installation to ensure all three hung at exactly the same height, especially since I’m working with a vaulted ceiling that’s angled, and the result looks seamless. One tip: have Windex wipes on hand during assembly. The clear glass version gets dust and fingerprints inside and out very easily, and if you skip cleaning the inside, the lights can look dingy even if the exterior is spotless. The glass balls are large and beautiful, but also very fragile. One of mine arrived broken, but Wayfair’s customer service was excellent and replaced it quickly without any hassle. Overall, these pendants are stunning and make a real statement over the island. They feel high-end and designer-approved, yet don’t break the bank.
