I searched extensively for a non-wood product that actually looked like real wood and was substantial. This is it. Installation was a breeze if you’re handy with a drill and saw. We used our old 3x3 mail post (with the mailbox support removed) and this post slid right over it. Saved us the step of having to sink a new post into cement, which was huge. The post and mailbox are well made and were delivered with no damage. My husband installed the post over an existing 4X4 wooden post from a previous post. I just wish the mailbox was larger.
