My dogs destroyed the zipper on this pretty quickly after I bought it which didn't matter because I wasn't really planning to use it as a duvet but despite that it stayed in surprisingly good shape. It is VERY linty. It leaves a lot of lint in the dryer. I have five dogs and never feel like I can customer see hair on it. It's super cute. It's a soft fabric. I all around love it.
