I got size 0.25" H x 60" W x 48" D - the largest chair mat available. The hardwood floorboards under the desk in my husband's home office were beginning to look stressed, so I ordered this to protect the wood. I also got the Three Year Protection Plan that was offered because, after reading many many reviews from ALL the top makers of tempered glass chair mats, I could see that VERY occasionally, for some unknown reason, a chair mat from might suddenly just shatter (usually within the first year or so), so I got the Protection Plan to calm my fears about that.
