The base is nothing special you wouldn't find on any cheap chair. The upper seat is pretty nice, especially for the price. I'm a 6'1" 240lb man (athletic), and it isn't remotely "too small" as some have said, so adjust your expectations for your body type. The cushion is firm, but comfortable in my opinion. I weigh reviews heavily when looking to purchase furniture online. And I’m glad I did because this chair got really good reviews and I am very happy with it. I really love this chair. I purchased the lightest fabric. It did take about 3-4 weeks to receive which is fine, I just want other people to expect a lead time. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5-star rating is because the wheels have a seam on them and it put gouge marks in my wood floor. I purchased a rug and rug pad, so I’m not going to have further damage. The chair is VERY comfortable and I sit on it for long periods of time. I completely recommend this chair!!. Jennifer.
